Overview - New Commission Print Process
Send a matchbook to CRC to create framed prints for you in his signature ‘Matchbook Diaries’ style.
How it Works
1. Place order on CRC Commission website
2. Deliver physical matchbook to CRC
(via mail or NYC drop off)
3. Commission print ready within ~4 weeks
Note - ‘Mail In Packets’ are no longer available - customers purchasing new commission prints are responsible for dropping off their matchbook in person or sending via mail themselves
Pricing starts at $300
• New Commission Print: $300
($125 art fee + $175 print )
• Additional Framed Copies: $175 per print

• Customer must provide CRC with a physical matchbook (via mail or drop-off in NYC)
• Commission prints feature 1 side of 1 matchbook ONLY - requests for prints showing a group of matchbooks, or both sides of a matchbook in a single print are not permitted
• Matchbooks only - other objects not permitted (i.e., business card, pen, menu etc.)
• Requests to photoshop logos on blank matchbooks not permitted - actual real object needed
• Commissions are non-refundable and cosmetic ‘touch-up’s within artwork are at CRC’s discretion

Framing: Black Lacquer or White Matte frame (not sold unframed)
Framed Size: 10” x 12” or 8” x 12” depending on shape/style of matchbook (same as main CRC website)
Lead Time: ~4 weeks (from when matchbook delivered to CRC)

Step 1: Add ‘Art Fee’ to Cart
Fee paid to CRC to photograph your matchbook and create new artwork. Required for new commissions.

Step 2: Add Framed Commission Print(s) to Cart
Choice of White Matte or Black Lacquer frame. Gift notes can be added at checkout.
$175 / print
Purchased in combination with ‘art fee’ when placing an order for a new commission print.
Step 3: Checkout on Website
Receipt with your order information will be sent to your email upon order completion.
Step 4: Deliver your matchbook to CRC
Drop your matchbook off in-person or send via mail to:

If dropping off, please have your order number handy. If sending via mail, please provide a note in the package with your order number (provided on your emailed receipt) and your name. It is legal to send safety matches (matches that are not ‘strike anywhere’ type) through the mail provided they are sent ground.
